Muni has started a “Culture Bus” route! For a flat $7 fare folks can ride the Culture Buses all day as they shuttle back and forth between major San Francisco museums. FastPass holders can purchase a ticket for $3.
The distinctive yellow-orange buses run on biodiesel (some are biodiesel hybrids).
I see them on my walk to work each morning:
From the SFMTA site:

For one special event fare you can ride all day, getting on and off as many times as you like. Some museums give discounts when you show your special transfer. Then continue to use your special event fare transfer on Muni bus, Metro, and historic streetcar service (cable cars not included) for the rest of the day.
